2026 Recipients Announced
The Kaufman County Master Gardeners are proud to announce that we awarded two $1,000 scholarships this year to two outstanding students.
Congratulations to our recipients, Alexa Escajeda and Ana Gallegos!
Ana, a senior at Mabank High School, plans to attend the University of Notre Dame, where she will major in Biochemistry with the goal of becoming an orthodontist.
Alexa, a senior at Forney High School, will attend the University of Texas at Dallas, majoring in Biochemistry as she pursues her dream of becoming a scientist and researcher.
We are honored to support these bright young women as they take the next step toward their futures!
