May Monthly Meeting – All About Tomatoes

Kaufman County Master Gardeners meet on the first Monday for the month, except when that is a Monday holiday; it moves to the second Monday for those months.
We meet at 10 a.m. at First Community Church, 1401 Trinity Drive in Crandall. The educational topic will be presented first, followed by a short break and the business meeting. Guests are welcome. Registration is not necessary. Refreshments will be provided.
Educational Topic: All About Tomatoes
Master Gardener Jim Burt, who has Advanced Vegetable training, will talk about all things tomato gardening: types (determinant or indeterminant) categories (cherry, roma, beefsteak), varieties (Sun Gold, Brandywine, Big Boy), growth requirements, possible problems and remedies, and some of his personal tips.
