Kaufman County Master Gardeners Attend 2019 State Conference, Win Awards

The 2019 Texas Master Gardener Association Conference was hosted by the Victoria County Master Gardener Association from April 25-27 in Victoria, Texas. Several Master Gardeners from Kaufman County attended presentations, took tours, and visited vendors.

At the annual Awards Dinner, Kaufman County received three second place awards in the Medium Association (26-50 members) category. Beverly Curtis was recognized for contributions as Individual Master Gardener. The Poor Farm Vegetable Demonstration Garden was recognized in the Project category, and the 2018 Horticultural Calendar was recognized in the Written Education category.
