On April 2, 2012, the Kaufman County Xeric Garden, located at the Sub-Courthouse building at 200 East Main Street in Forney. was growing strong, with lush green shrubs and brightly-colored blooms in abundance. The Xeric Garden is irrigated by a drip system that uses rain water harvested from the roof of the adjoining building. Now is a great time to visit.
