THE RIVER ROCKS ARE INSTALLED!
Thanks to everyone, the volunteers and the volunteered, who came today to help us unload and arrange 1 TON of Colorado river rock in the beds at the Trinity Valley Community College building, where the Kaufman County Resource Center is located (800 Ed Hall Drive). With everyone pitching in, we got the project done in just over 45 minutes and were out of there before the temperature got too high. Just 82, which wasn’t bad.
Many thanks to Alan Lovell of HISCO Construction for graciously picking up that ton of rock yesterday in Mabank and delivering it to us at 7:30 this morning. Also, thank you to Mandy at Clay Structures in Mabank for her help getting the rock we wanted and for the nice discount she gave us.
This is a work in progress, so check back to see how it goes. You can see what’s already been done in Work Day at the Resource Connection.
