On December 8, Kaufman County Master Gardener and beekeeper Robet Yowell was at the Riter C. Hulsey Public Library in Terrell to talk about bees and beekeeping. He presented the basics of beekeeping, what’s required, and some problems that might occur to help adults make a decision about whether beekeeping is for them. For the children, though the adults enjoyed it as well, Yowell talked about what bees look like and their social structure: queen, workers, and drones. He explained pollenation and how bees use pollen and nectar in their hives
