What's Blooming in June?

On June 2, 2014, the Garden Learning Center Gardens were still showing a lot of blooms. Most of the cacti have finished blooming, but the prickly pear is still covered in yellow with numerous buds left. The yucca are still in bloom as well. Bulbs throughout the garden are blooming, as are the cone flowers and a variety of other plants. The bluebonnets have gone to seed, so we hope to see even more next year. In our new Monarch & Butterfly garden, the monarch caterpillars have been busy eating leaves, and some have disappeared, each, we hope, to turn into their chrysalis.
